Personal Experience
My personal experience further guides me toward leading and teaching others. Favorite climbing sites include Sugarite State Park in New Mexico and Red River Gorge in Kentucky. I've climbed in Colorado, Ohio, New Hampshire, Nevada, California, New Mexico, Washington, West Virginia, Kentucky, and Arkansas. Memorable trips include multiple five-day treks on the Appalachian Trail on very snowy "spring" breaks. My most memorable backpacking experiences have been hiking the John Muir Trail for three weeks in California and a 30-day section hike on the Pacific Crest Trail (miles 0-362).  See my Adventure Education Resume for details.
